Scope of Work:

The production company will create a 1-hour short movie documenting the Bijnore Kand (incident) during the Uttarakhand Andolan (Uttarakhand movement). The movie will dramatize the key events surrounding the Bijnore Kand incident, a significant and emotional moment in the history of Uttarakhand's struggle for statehood.

1. Research and Scriptwriting:

   • Thorough research will be conducted on the Bijnore Kand incident, utilizing available historical records, interviews with witnesses or experts, and first-hand accounts.
   • The script will include dramatized reconstructions of key moments during the incident, focusing on the emotional and political undertones of the event.

2. Casting and Character Design:

   • The production company will cast local actors who can authentically represent the characters involved in the Bijnore Kand incident.
   • Accurate costumes and makeup will be used to ensure historical accuracy in the portrayal of characters, particularly the activists and local people involved.

3. Filming Locations:

   • The production will primarily take place in Uttarakhand, particularly in Bijnore and surrounding areas where the incident occurred.
   • Historical landmarks and actual locations will be used to create an authentic environment.

4. Key Themes and Coverage:

   • The short movie will cover the political and social implications of the Bijnore Kand incident and its effect on the larger Uttarakhand Andolan.

5. Post-Production:

• 25% advance payment upon signing the contract.
• 25% after completion of pre-production and script approval.

Intellectual Property Rights:

The client will own the full intellectual property rights to the short movie, including the final film, scripts, and any promotional materials. The production company retains the right to use behind-the-scenes footage or excerpts for portfolio and marketing purposes, but does not have the right to distribute or monetize the movie without the client’s consent.

Confidentiality Clause:

The production company agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the script, production schedule, and any other sensitive project information. Unauthorized disclosure of any details will result in legal consequences.

Termination Clause:

If the client decides to terminate the contract:

• A 15-day written notice is required.
• If terminated during the research or scriptwriting phase, the client will pay for work completed up to that point.
• If terminated during production or post-production, the client will compensate for all actual work done until the point of termination, including any unrecoverable costs.
