Parties Involved:
- Client: The individual or entity commissioning the creation of home maps for construction projects.
- Architect/Designer: The professional responsible for designing and preparing detailed home maps.
Budget:
₹60,000 (for 50 home maps, inclusive of all applicable taxes).
Scope of Work:
The architect/designer will create 50 home maps for plots of land measuring between 500 and 1000 square feet. These maps will be designed to meet local building codes and regulations while optimizing the space for residential use.
Design Requirements:
- Home Map Details: Each map will be designed to fit a 500 to 1000 square feet plot, accommodating a standard residential design that may include basic facilities like:
- Living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and storage areas.
- The designs should prioritize space utilization, ensuring that the homes are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
- Compliance with Local Regulations: The home maps will comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations specific to the region.
- Customization: The client may request specific features (e.g., open-plan designs, additional rooms, or eco-friendly features) in the home maps, which will be incorporated into the design where possible.

Design Process:
- Site Evaluation: The architect/designer may request the client to provide site plans or photographs of the land to assess the terrain, access points, and other site-specific factors that may affect the design.
- Initial Drafts: The architect will create initial drafts of the home maps, including floor plans and basic elevations, which will be reviewed by the client.
- Client Review and Feedback: The client will have the opportunity to review and suggest changes to the initial drafts. Any modifications or updates will be incorporated into the final design.
- Final Maps: After final approval, the architect will provide the detailed home maps in professional format (e.g., AutoCAD, PDF, or printed copies) suitable for construction purposes.
Timeline:
The total project will take 6 weeks to complete, broken down as follows:- Week 1-2: Site analysis, development of initial drafts for the first 25 maps.
- Week 3-4: Completion of drafts for the remaining 25 maps, incorporating feedback from the client.
- Week 5-6: Final revisions and delivery of the completed home maps.
Payment Terms:
- 20% advance payment upon signing the contract (₹12,000).
- 40% after delivery of the first 25 home maps (₹24,000).
- 40% upon completion and final approval of all 50 home maps (₹24,000).
Rights and Ownership:
- The client will retain exclusive ownership of the final home maps after full payment is made.
- The architect/designer retains the right to use the maps for portfolio purposes but cannot sell or use them for any other projects without the client’s written consent.
Revisions and Modifications:
- The client is entitled to two rounds of revisions during the process—one after reviewing the initial drafts and one after receiving the final drafts.
- Additional revisions beyond this scope may incur extra charges, which will be agreed upon in writing before proceeding.
Termination Clause:
If either party wishes to terminate the contract:
- A 15-day written notice is required.
- If terminated after work has commenced, the client will pay for the work completed up to the termination point, including any drafts or designs produced.
Confidentiality Clause:
The architect/designer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all designs, maps, and client details. Any unauthorized use or disclosure will result in legal consequences.
