The UK Tender Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire tender process, from identifying tender opportunities to submission and post-tender analysis. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary information, coordinating tender responses, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements and deadlines. The UK Tender Manager will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients, conducting market research, and continuously improving tender processes to increase success rates.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing tender processes in the UK market, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
- Strong understanding of tendering principles, procedures, and regulations in the UK.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tender documents and proposals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to effectively interact with clients and procurement officers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of tender management software and online procurement portals is a plus.
